Senior Chang

Word on the street is that Senior Chang was spotted in the harbour spouting obscenities in Mandarin at passing children. One on looker said the only English being spoken was the enraged Chang stating he would not serve as it was before 11am. His trusty rickshaw was seen in a nearby parking garage with a odd bumper sticker reading "Can't feed em' don't breed em"

Is it lacrosse season?

Lacrosse season is indeed upon us. Having not seen the first Tmen game I can't comment firsthand, but word is that it was a barnburner that had the Tmen padding their stats and the fans glued to their Iphones and Blackberries trying to find entertainment. It sounds like the long-held tradition of disciplined Nanaimo lacrosse is still with us which is a welcome relief. I've long been a fan of the saying "Turn the other cheek", popularized by Moses, I believe, right before he ordered the slaughter of tens of thousands of peasants because they made fun of his sandals.
